Today I taught my student to say "Fuck off" I know many people wouldn't agree and feel it was rather inappropriate, however I will stand by decision.

My beautiful high-school student who I have taught for over a year and had lots of conversations with. Told me today her summer plans to lose 30lbs in a month.
"Everytime my mom sees me she tells me how fat I am. Teacher I can't take it anymore. I stress."

In that moment I was so angry, she weighs a healthy 136lbs she's not short she's not even overly chubby but she has something most Korean women lack, hips and ass.

I sat there for a while explaining to her what she was planning was unhealthy basically live sleep and breathe only at the gym and drink shakes.

She told me also no guy wants her because of her body and she desperately wants a boyfriend.

Love yourself first Hun, you are beautiful and its not going to get better until you love you. Words I often have to tell myself as I struggle with my weight.

Students like these break my heart. When I leave I worry who can they talk to?

One Mount

So this past weekend I visited OneMount near Lake Park, Jeongbalsan Korea. I very much enjoyed the walk in the beautiful park and watching all the families enjoy the beautiful weather. OneMount just opened late March/April, It is unique as it has a Snow/Water park built into the shopping mall. While I am not bathing suit ready just exploring what shops they had to offer was fairly exciting. I only snapped a few pictures as I explored along the shops...I do so loathe the sound most Asian phones require when you snap photos...dampens my photo taking. 

All in all was a great place to visit and I will go again. Heres a few snaphots and me with three of the seven princes no idea where they were from they were just there at the stage handing out roses.

RTT and Captain Robert

I have a one on one class with a elementary school girl. She is very bright and lately we have been writing a Fantasy Sci-Fi story titled RTT and Captain Roberts. She's very talented and interesting so it makes the class fun and time flies.

I must say I enjoy class with her.
